Although flawed this jacket is still a masterpiece. Given the recent hype for Arc’teryx and Gore-tex this is up there with the best you can get.
Completely waterproof, taped seams, taped zip pockets, two way front zip, and a crazy Airvantage inflatable system.
Other features a detachable/packable hood, silk lining to chin area when zipped up for comfort, zip fly wrist pocket big enough for your phone as well as under arm ventilation system, elasticated hem, velcro adjustable cuffs, Nike ACG swoosh to left arm, in-house zipped pockets, in-house adjustable caging for warmth and comfort, the list goes on.
This can be worn in two ways. Originally seen as a Gore-tex shell jacket and being very slick, when the temperature drops the inflatable system draws the material closer to your body keeping the warmth in and adding extra padding to the jacket. Simply blowing into the Airvantage system a few times the whole jacket transforms.
